Sometimes it just has to happen
Things aren't right, things aren't good

The joy, the spontaneity, the love has waned
When did it happen, were we not paying attention

We tolerate, we adapt, the silence is loud
Why can't we bring it back, where did it go

Why can't I feel anymore, why can't I even care
I didn't want to become indifferent, cold

I wanted to be loved and loving
Now I just don't care

That is the worst of all
That I just don't care anymore
