Darkness engulfs the evening sky
Sweet birds merrily to their nests exit
The last of day slowly vanishes like shadows
Drums can be heard in a distance
A celebration perhaps?

Hmmm…
Silence chills the night now in stupor
Stars can be seen in their splendor
Bright as ever
Beautiful as usual
Attesting my love for you
Bright and beautiful

The violin
Playing passionate tunes
A testament to our passions
The harps
Playing a happy tune
A testament to our happiness
The guitars
Playing a good and gallant tune
A testament to our love
The piano
In its might
Playing a purifying tune
A testament to our pure unification

Ohhh…
Dancers
Dancers everywhere
Is it tango or salsa?
Is it samba or lingala?
I really don’t care
The hips to the right
The hips to the left
The hips in rhythm
Hips gyrated by these dancers
A testament to our eternal love

The soldiers…
In their uniforms march with stride
Alert as ever
Soldiering on and on
Unabated
A testament to our solidarity
Even the tempest
Has known all along
Of this love that is everlasting
