It's Time for a Change

Its Time for a Change is a video inspired by a phone intervention by Maurice during his radio show.

The homeless people are people without shelter. In France, there is a distinction between homeless people and people without a permanent address (SDF). The later have no postal address for the administration.

The city of Paris is the most affected by homelessness in France.

Its impossible to find reliable statistics on the number of homeless people in France. It varies between 85,000 (which appears low) and 4 million (which appears excessive) of which 16,000 are children. There is a subtle distinction between the numbers of homeless people and people without a permanent address.

The homeless are not necessarily unemployed, some of them work.

Also, the housing crisis and the high cost of real estate (particularly in the Paris area) is only one explanation for the homelessness phenomenon.

About the life expectancy, the numbers also varies depending on different sources:
- 47 years old according to the group Les morts de la rue
- 43 years old according to The Children of Don Quixote association

Lets ponder on this because we are all responsible and it is time for a change.
