Introducing Sam Amoresano

Sam Amoresano is an internal auditor, with a passion and ability to see across the entire organization. He’s skilled at identifying risks and opportunities with all segments in the business and at all levels of management.

Sam is highly-credentialed and certified ( CPA, MBA, CIA, CRMA, CFE) and has built a career as a respected business partner who works closely with senior operating and leadership professionals to improve operations and identify financial opportunities.

Sam knows that, ultimately, internal auditors strengthen an organization, and he’s built his career around that.

Sam received his Master of Business Accounting with a specialization in Accounting from Pace University's Lubin School of Business. He received his Bachelor of Business Accounting from Pace University, as well.

From 2008-2019, Sam served as Head of Internal Audit / VP at Avis Budget Group, Inc In this role, he directed all aspects of the global Internal Audit function including team development, Sarbanes-Oxley program management, risk management, and audit plan development, amongst many other duties.

Sam Amoresano also served as Director of the Sarbanes-Oxley Project Management Office, Internal Audit, where he developed material and provided global training and ongoing support to more than 500 people in the organization. Sam also served as Senior Finance Manager and Business Partner of Information Technology for Avaya, Inc., and as Senior Finance Manager of Corporate Accounting.

From 1998-200, Sam Amoresano was the Assistant Controller, BCS International of Lucent Financial Services at Lucent Technologies, Inc., and he was the Finance Manager of Corporate Technology at Colgate-Palmolive Company from 1990-1996.

Sam has his Six Sigma Green Belt Certification and is highly-skilled and proficient in SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Office, and TeamMate.

In his spare time, Sam loves spending time with his family and friends.
