So what was scotty from Star Trek, doing on a Star Wars ripoff show? Keeping it real on Jason of Star Command of course. I’m surprised that I never remember this show that ran on CBS from 1978 to 1981. It was actually a spinoff of Space Academy that started its run in September of 1977, about four months after Star Wars hit theaters.
