Ever wondered what it looks like inside a search engine? Well, here is the answer:

Running a video search engine is a technological challenge and involves stacking up quite an amount of hardware.

Today, we unlocked the server-room to take a peek. So this is the look into one of our machines. Watch node #1-58, part of the indexing cluster of machines humming away, freshly recovered from a power failure the day before.

System Specs:
-White label box running Debian
-AMD Athlon64 X2 3800+
-1GB DRAM
-2x 500GB Samsung disks in software RAID
-plenty of cooling
