Impressions from Vietnam 2013

This is a film of our Vietnam holiday from 07 up to 19 November 2013. We started in Ho Chi Minh City, where we enjoyed a great tour with the girls of XO Tours. We chose the Foodie tour, which we really really liked. We ate all sorts of exotic things like frog skin (tastes like chicken) or duck embryo.

Then we flew to Phu Quoc Island to relax for a few days. Unfortunately the sea was due to the typhoon full of dirt. But the time was really wonderful anyway.

After the relaxing part we flew into the bustling Hanoi, where we have not only been once nearly run over by the motorbikes. The motto is as well: close your eyes and go through. In any case, we have extremely enjoyed the busyness of the city. Everywhere people are around and enjoy a fun and relaxed life.

After Hanoi we came to the last part of our trip. Ha Long Bay. The World Heritage of the Unesco. The company with which we went was called Indochina Junk and the guys really understood their job. On the way there were also two highlights. We were allowed to visit a fishing village and had a BBQ dinner in a cave. Really recommendable.
