Since ISF is not considered Customs business, the importer is not required to use their own filer code. They do however need to file under a filer code. TRG Direct will let importers "borrow" their filer code if they are engaging in importer security filing only. This then, requires the importer to provide TRG Direct with a Power of Attorney. This goes back to risk management.
