Idiot Scientist to Stop Global Warming? With Ice?

Here is the video from a Kickstarter project I've made, called "Study in Temporary Ice Fields to Combat Global Warming." The basic idea is already being studied in a joint project by a British-Mongolian partnership, with the first large ice shield made in 2011. I'd like to put together an analysis, to see what the possible outcomes are -- things like how much ice would be needed to make a significant impact. As of this posting, the project is still live!
