Ian Trousdell - Creativity/ Dare I say?

Dare I say my poetry comes from another land,
an overtone of this one?

That my throat begins to glow
and words beam out shining,
a lamb still singing on the spit?

It is not easy here,
where the light is dim
and darkness makes decisions hard,
for the stars do not shine in the day
as they do at home.

Life is not always sweet
nor meant to be down here,
though everyone deserves fresh cream.
