Being human
is strange
and difficult.

Within each one of us
hides a divinity
clothed as
an terrible beast.

To befriend the pent up power,
to wrap your arms around
to rub the rough hair
opens the gate
to a successful failure.

How do we do this?

You say,
love yourself
and others
the same.

Know I am
the beast of gold
inside the terror,
kingly peace
and sublime magic
in the raw power.
