Dr Ian Fry is an academic in Interfaith Studies specialising in middle east peacemaking.

The IHC9 is an initiative undertaken by the International Institute of Peace Studies & Global Philosophy, an international academic body founded at the University of London in 1991.

The IHC9 is a new international initiative aimed at healing the traumatised body politic that has been suffering from post-traumatic stress syndrome caused by the tragedies of 9/11 and their aftermath for the past 19 years.

Purposes: The Purpose of the IHC9 is to discover answers to the key questions still remaining from the tragic events of September 9 and 11, 2001.

1: Who authorized, planned and proposed the attacks of 9/11/2001 and 9/9/2001?
2: If the official narrative of Bush is proven false, as seems to be the case, then who else was involved from other agencies and powers?
3: If this was in some way a ‘inside job’ organised by intelligence services, then which intelligence services were responsible?
4: Who financed and funded these terrorist attacks in all details and at all levels of the operation? And what do financial and other records show?
5: Since the chaos of post-9/11 world politics was premised on the official American narrative (i.e. Al Qaeda and Bin Laden were solely responsible), and since this narrative has now been proven false, what are the implications for historians of all countries, cultures and religions? How can we reconstruct a factual and a factual and truthful historical narrative?

Protocols: As an International Historical Commission Of Inquiry we will be adhering to all the rigorous standards of advanced historical scholarship that have developed in the work of the historical profession in the last hundreds of years, and we will demand a high level of evidence, intelligence, probity and strict adherence to truth, from all commission members. Although not a judicial body with formal legal powers, our Commission will probably be uncovering matters which are in fact illegal and justiciable – we will not be interrupted or deflected in our work by legal constraints however, and will be operating at a very high level of forensic truth seeking, requiring absolute adherence to scientific historical research standards expected by the international historical community.
