Minor Possession Alcohol O.C.G.A. §3-3-23
Contributing to the delinquency of a minor
A minor possessing alcohol can be punished by up to 6 months in jail and a $300.00 fine or both. Adults furnishing alcohol to, or purchasing alcohol for minors is a misdemeanor punishable by up to a $1,000.00 fine and 1 year in jail or both.

Marijuana is illegal in Georgia for medical and recreational purposes and is listed as a controlled substance in the Georgia Controlled Substances Act. Possession of marijuana can attract a punishment of up to 40 years of incarceration and a fine of up to $1,000,000.

The Age of Consent in GA. For over a decade, Georgia has had a limited age differential statute, for some teenagers. Where the female is at least 14 years old, but not yet 16, when sex occurs with another person 18 or younger, this is still a crime, but handled as a misdemeanor.
