The afternoon was breezy but we kicked it on the rooftop anyway. Pison Flo, Dres the Beatnik, and the Chilly-O crew saw it fit to grab a few takes of the conversation. What was supposed to be a classic meeting of the veteran/rookie minds quickly evolved into a freestyle rapping session on some elevated flow. As if a few cats wearing cool tshirts was not enough, the energy made it even cooler to catch on film. The Detroit native turned Atlien starts off by reminiscing on the early days of Apache in spoken word A Cappella. His rhythm enticed Beatnik to go in on a human beatbox expedition and the rest is history. Dres the Beatnik is not just a human beatbox but also an MC, host, lecturer and ambassador. We admire his diligence in these things because it represents the Chilly-O way. To be fluid, creative and ambidextrous!
