The flowers wilt and die
But their scent is endless

Midnight tolls and in the park it
hits us and spans our time together

Mechanisms like machines
are thought to end our existence

But in the center of our souls
we beat like clocks and sway like lillies

In the sun, in the snow we lay and melt
And bathe like rocks in the sea
