If you want to run for hours, one thing is for sure: you are going to need comfortable shoes. Go to a specialized store and get advice. There they will look at things like your stride style to make sure you choose the most suitable shoes for you. Don't wait until the week before to buy them.
Watch your diet
To stay healthy and recover well you need to fuel your body efficiently. First, take a sports drink with you during workouts and have a good helping of carbohydrates as quickly as possible after workouts.
