10 Views • May 24, 2013
Description
This multimedia tutorial demonstrates how to plot coordinates of a point. Coordinates of points are plotted on a coordinate plane in between X (the Horizontal Axis) and Y (the Vertical Axis). The perpendicular distance of a point from Y axis is the x coordinate of the point and similarly, perpendicular distance of a point from X axis is the y coordinate of the point.
Coordinates of a point is represented or written as P (x,y), where x coordinate is also called as Abscissa and y coordinate is also known as Ordinate.
