A family of magpies are visited by some imposters, and while the father is away indulging his obsessive passion for all things shiny, a horrific scene unfolds. He returns to find his family devastated and seeks revenge on the criminal ravens before sailing his loved one down the river on a paper raft. Consumed with guilt and with nothing to live for, he then take his own life.
