How to make an octahedron (from scratch)
Description
The video shows how to make an octahedron from paper from scratch. By yourself drawing a grid of a geometric figure. I will show you how, step by step, how to turn a sheet of A4 paper into a three-dimensional solid.
All the edges are 7 cm, making a solid of 8 correct triangles, thanks to which it fits perfectly on the sheet, making your math project easy to do and you will get a good grade for it.
There are many ways to draw an octahedron grid, the simplest of them and the best one, which makes it easier to stick figures together, can be found in the movie.
You can, of course, print the mesh, but doing it yourself will help you better understand the geometry of the solids. And the big advantage is that you don't need a printer.

What are you waiting for DIY, you will need the following tools!
Tools needed:
Ruler / set square, Pen / pencil, scissors, paper or cardboard, glue / sticky tape
The octahedron is almost the most complex Platonic solid, but still not very demanding. It has 8 identical triangle-shaped faces, where there is no clearly defined base. This information can be useful for you at school or when you are a parent to explain geometry to children in a simple way.
If you need more detailed information, you can find them at www.matfig.com or go to geometry lessons where you will learn to measure surfaces, calculate volumes and learn about many additional properties of volumetric figures.
Other paper geometric figures: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxZL1_MHFerZTkc3x_D4rMg?view_as=subscriber
What we do may be similar to origami, but it certainly is not, as some sources and videos indicate.
Do it yourself (DIY), detailed instruction is sure to get you the best geometry grade in school.

I will try to make my craftsmanship more regular so that I can describe all the basic 3D paper shapes and every student can easily do their homework at home. And when creating a figure, he will learn a lot about its volume, area and other properties.
