How to draw pencil?

To draw a pencil, start by sketching a long, straight rectangle for the pencil's body. This will form the main barrel. Add a pointed triangle at one end for the pencil tip, ensuring the point aligns symmetrically with the body. At the other end, draw a smaller rectangle to represent the eraser. Connect the eraser and the pencil body with a narrow band to indicate the metal ferrule that holds them together.

Next, refine the triangle at the tip by adding a smaller triangular section inside for the lead. Lightly shade this area with gray or black to distinguish it. Use soft lines to draw the wood encasing the lead, creating a sharp transition from the pencil body to the tip.

Add details to the body, such as stripes or a brand name, for a realistic touch. For color, use yellow for the body, silver or gray for the ferrule, pink for the eraser, and dark gray or black for the lead.
