How are you any better?

Sides tend to try to claim moral superiority, which also helps to justify their need to force everyone else to live by their set of values. If you're "better" than the other side, then it is necessary to direct the way in which they live, because they need you to choose for them how they live. But here within the continually escalating conflict, I am seeing no moral superiority and no grounds for such on either side.
