Holiday Wives

This project concerns a social issue, prevalent in India. A lot of Non Resident Indian (NRI) grooms, often pressurized by parents, come to India to find a traditional Indian bride for themselves. But often, grooms either run away with the dowry money and never return, or already have a second wife/ family back home. Through this short animation clip, we have tried to show that a full background check must be conducted before committing to such a relationship.

My role:
Conceptualize, Build Armatures, make puppets, design and construct sets, animate and track 2D expressions, edit sound.
