5/4/2010-The Parks Department offers for sale Union Square Park at a very reasonable price of $2.1 million.
They presented their RFP for a merchandise and gift market that would occupy almost half of the park for more than 1 month, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with 200 vendors. Amazing how a handful artists "congests the park" and causes "a public safety hazard" but a 200 stand merchandise market does not. PART C
