Hexen: Beyond Heretic Gameplay

Hexen: Beyond Heretic is the sequel to the popular Heretic, made by Raven Software in 1994. Like Heretic, Hexen is based on the Doom engine. All of Raven's innovations on Heretic were carried over to Hexen, along with many additional changes. These changes included the option to choose between 3 different characters and a level hub system. The characters were the Fighter, the Cleric, and the Mage. Each had their own unique weapons and different levels of speed and armour. Other innovations included weather effects, jumping, earth-quakes, and destructable objects.
