Herbert Nehrlich - Simple Sally (Haiku)

One error only,
the traffic cop was tired.
He got run over.

They did replace him
this one was really hyper.
He caused collisions.

Superintendent,
all set to fix the problem
was met with laughter.

Chaos resulted
a million cars now stranded
in the big city.

Came Simple Sally
and waved her magic baton
she was applauded.

And in an hour
all cars had left the city
and there was silence.

Superintendent,
both cops and Simple Sally
directing traffic......
