Herbert Nehrlich - For Dew (Haiku)

It's such a pity
that folks think they can gather
love in a fortnight.

The poet Schiller,
while watching Johann Wolfgang,
advised great caution.

Observe the heart, man.
And tissue-match it sweetly
love is forever.

It is forever,
for one who will be hoping
for magic flowers.

Note:
This is my last poem.
I shall post no more.
