Helen Wilson - Stranger
0 Views • Nov 07, 2014
Description
He didn’t look smart.
He didn’t seem wealthy.
He walked without art.
His smile was freeborn;
His gaze was direct;
His scope, expansive;
His greeting correct.
He passed me a smile
It lingered aface
I shared it around
Without losing pace.
The day seemed brighter
My feet gained traction.
“A good day, indeed! ”-
Instinct reaction…
He was very good looking;
He was indeed smart;
His wealth was apparent;
And joy was his art.
