Stop!
Who says you can’t?
Who says its better
To push through exhaustion;
To squeeze yourself wafer thin?
To give away your last dropp of blood?

For what?
For the good of the corporation?
To maintain your reputation?
To set the good example?
So people think you’re coping?

Oh, the martyr’s fate
In this market driven world!
At best dismissed; at worst despised.
An undefended dumping ground,
Fallible, mortal, fading…

Stop!
There is more you can aspire to
For humanity’s sake;
For the purpose of your soul;
To set a good example;
To live instead of coping.
