Opening to love
Like a dandelion:
Tender, hopeful, fated.
Momentarily held together,
Certain to fall apart
At the first puff of wind;
To scatter far and wide
Forever changed.
The whole lost.
Re-formed only
When seeds germinate
In receptive ground.
Fragile but enduring.
Illusive. Compelling.
Will this be?
I fear so.
I hope so.
