هيلا هوب ماما وبابا رمز الحب

ما قالا لي أبداً لا في شيء مهما أطلب
ولذا فأنا معهم دوماً في أفعالي أتأدب
وإذا طلبت ماما شيئاً أعطي ماما ما ترغب
وإذا قلت لماما قولاً أبداً أبداً لا أكذب
وإذا أخطأت أقول أنا يا بابا إني مذنب
فيسامحني بابا طبعاً فهو حليم لا يغضب
وإذا جاء ينام حبيبي في غرفته لا ألعب
فأنا أعرف أن حبيبي في كسب معاشي يتعب
ويعلمني ذكر إلهي في المأكل أو في المشرب
عند دخولي عند خروجي في الملبس أو في المركب
ويذاكرني كل دروسي حتى حتى لا أرسب
فالأمة ترقبني نجماً يسطع في أجواء الطب

Heila hop — Mama and Baba are the symbol of love.
Heila heila heila hop — Mama and Baba are the symbol of love.

They never tell me “no” in anything I ask for,
And so I always behave well with them in everything I do.

If Mama asks for something, I give her what she desires,
And whenever I speak to Mama, I never ever lie.

And if I make a mistake, I say, “Oh Father, I am guilty,”
Then my father forgives me, for he is patient and never angry.

And when my dear father comes to sleep in his room, I don’t play,
Because I know my beloved works hard to earn our living.

He teaches me to remember my Lord — when I eat or drink,
When I enter, when I leave, in my clothes or when I ride.

He reviews all my lessons with me so I do not fail,
For the nation awaits me to shine like a star in the skies of medicine.

My mother — the most honorable of mothers,
And my father — the best of fathers.
O my Lord, protect them, O Lord,
