Heather Stephens - The poppy
5 Views • Jun 15, 2014
Description
What does it really mean?
No one really knows
The red;
Is it for the blood
That was shed in many, many wars?
Or for the long lost love
Of the soilders country,
And their many sacrafices,
And loving families?
The silver pin;
is it for
using as a small wepon
that was given to you for almost nothing
to hurt yourself and others?
Or is it for safely
Putting the poppy on
So you wont
loose it and loose
the meaning of the
poppy itself?
The black;
Is it for the hate
That’s all over the world?
Or for the black pupuil
Shrinking as a man dies
in a battle field?
No one really knows
The poppy.
