Heather Noll - Waiting

My heart is waiting,
waiting for you to come to me,
my eyes will not know you,
nor will my mind
but my heart will scream your name.

After we have met
you will say your name
but i will not hear it
i will only be dazed at your beauty

When you turn to leave
my heart sinks
i want to stop you from leaving
and beg you to stay
but my hand doesnt budge

I count the steps that you took
as you walk away
once you are gone
i feel empty inside
like a part of me has gone with you

When I lie in my big empty bed
I think of you constantly
then i cry, because you are not here
and the sad part is....
i dont even know your name...: (
