As a Harley Davidson insurance broker, Meik soon assures his own old sweetheart. The first valuation report is currently being prepared and one thing can already be said with certainty. For Meik his 1979 Shovel is priceless. After a long planning, he has now fulfilled his dream and commissioned a befitting chair.

The Shovelhead Harley-Davidson engine got its name from the shovel shape of the upper rocker box covers and was built from 1966 to 1984. It replaced the Panhead and was later replaced by the Evolution Big Twin. Since ’78 the engines have been divided into “Early” and “Late”, where the cubic capacity increased from 1200 to 1340 ccm.
