Hannah Bryson Price - Confusion
1 Views • Oct 29, 2014
Description
Oddly you were the one that seemed so enchanting.
A smile here and a laugh there,
Somehow I can tell that you have a much bigger burden to bear.
You are charming and sweet.
Still, my eyes are afraid to meet,
Who was afraid to be sincere,
About a rumor that I did hear.
Even then I believed it not to be true.
After I heard, I thought I would get to know you.
But I guess your walls are built and you act fine.
You don't even know how tall and how thick are mine.
I had it coming, I guess.
Even now when we see each other my mind becomes a mess.
You must not know what it is like on the exterior of society.
You seem basic and I am a wide variety.
I cannot assume because I do not know,
Through what you have had to go.
Still, I don't see why,
I might have caught your eye.
To standards I am undesirable,
So now I am possessed by a feeling that is indescribable.
All I know is a name and a face.
