A peek at the steps that go into making a simple character.

All my characters are made in 3DStudio Max R3. This is the process I use to make them if they have moving parts (it's called the box-drawing method). Thankfully this one isn't wearing clothes and has a very simple shape. A character like Mary 2 takes me about 20 - 30 hours to make and can have a hundred moving parts. This simple one took about 2 hours and only has around 36 moving parts.
