Both the song and the characters in the music video illustrates extremity in their actions of "love". In Bruno Mars' case - his was devoted love while I wanted to deviate from the storyline creating an obsessed jealous, scorned lover who out of rage tries to hurt his ex. Possessive love is never okay.
