Govt. 'misusing' sedition laws: AISA VP

New Delhi, Feb 19 (ANI): Demanding removal of sedition charges against the students accused in the JNU row, All India Student Association (AISA) vice-president Shehla Rashid Shora said sedition laws are being "misused" by the ruling Government to malign the image of student leaders. Students from various organisations have been consistently protesting against the arrest of JNUSU president Kanhaiya Kumar, who allegedly organised the controversial February 9 event on the JNU campus against the hanging of 2001 Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru.
