Intessar was born in Yafa in 1936 to Palestinian and Turkish parents. Growing up Baklava was the dessert of choice in our home and there was nothing more incredible than the smell of her freshly baked Baklava when we got home from school.

We lost Intessar in 2011, but her legacy continues and Intessar's Baklava is a part of that legacy. Each order is cooked from the heart with only top of the line ingredients and topped with Intessar's sweet rose syrup.
