We often silently suffer with inner hurt, pain, and grief from a broken heart. Many times we look to people or things to bring relief. The only panacea for a broken heart is God. He says that He will never leave or forsake us. That He will comfort us.

HEALING A BROKEN HEART - SCRIPTURES

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. The righteous person faces many troubles, but the LORD comes to the rescue each time. Psalm 34:18-19

The LORD is close to all who call on him, yes, to all who call on him in truth. Psalm 145:18

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you.I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. Isaiah 41:10

When you go through deep waters,I will be with you.When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown.When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. Isaiah 43:2

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. Romans 8:28
