The Global Bag Project donates the proceeds from the sales of reusable shopping bags in the developed world to sewing cooperatives in the developing world. The Global Bag Project is our way of fighting global poverty by providing opportunities for vulnerable women in Africa to achieve sustainable incomes to meet the needs of their families through sales of the reusable artisan shopping bags they produce.
