Getting Laid Off

Getting laid off is a terrible thing. Having to play the corporate wage slave game is even worse. Worrying about your job is an added stress that we could all do without.

I've been there several times already. I just wanted it to stop. I also want to let others know the ways that I have found to not have to rely on it anymore. The big corporations don't want you to know that there is a way out because they need a steady stream of cubicle fodder for their pink slip pads.

Learn new skills. There are technical skills and various businesses that you can run which will insulate you from getting laid off. Remember, I am one of you. I have been there and done that and I finally had it handed to me so many times that I said Enough I am not going to take this anymore. I grabbed what was left of my tattered behind and came up with a plan to get on track to never have to rely on jobs, corporations, careers, employers, or anything like that. I am working towards never having to ever worry about getting laid off again. Ever.
