Wikipedia Context
In military terminology, friendly fire or fratricide is an attack by belligerent or neutral forces on friendly troops while attempting to attack enemy or hostile targets. Examples include misidentifying the target as hostile, cross-fire while engaging an enemy, long range ranging errors or inaccuracy. Accidental fire not intended to attack enemy or hostile targets, and deliberate firing on one's own troops for disciplinary reasons is not called friendly fire, and neither is unintentional harm to civilian or neutral targets, which is sometimes referred to as collateral damage. Training accidents and bloodless incidents also do not qualify as friendly fire in terms of casualty reporting.

It was hard packing everything into the time limit for the project (around 5 minutes, but the film was meant to be 10 minutes). So here's an explanation of what was going on:
First of all, the whole video happens in one day. The first scene (in “CIA Headquarters”) happens after the action scene that follows, hence the new coverage on the missile. There are images throughout the film “timeline-ing” the scenes (on the iPod and newscast). Also, did you catch the iSWAG? (Hint, it’s early in the movie)
The idea is that Gamble and Hunt are agents for Root, a secret government program that assassinates targets. Hunt believes the agency will “phase them out/kill” them soon, so he wants to just leave and be with his love, Rachel Brooks. She’s an English 200 teacher (that’s what the tag next to the door says, it’s a reference to the class I was taking). What Hunt doesn’t know is that Gamble was the one who killed Agents Sanchez and Bauer, under orders from Root Director Sabina. These were the “Friendly Fire” missions.
Kate (former lover of Gamble) actually isn’t dead. Sabina knows this and is threatening to kill Kate (who’s in New York) if Gamble does not kill Hunt and Rachel. Why does she want them dead you might ask? Gamble and Hunt were both right. The two really are talented, but the agency only needs one of them. Obviously, she chose Gamble. Rachel has to die because Hunt may have already told her about their line of work.
If you didn’t figure it out…in the last scene, Hunt thought the dead girl on the floor was Rachel (it was her classroom after all). Do to having no budget (again, it was a school project), we couldn’t get a change of clothes for our Sabina actress to make that more apparent.
Clearly, Gamble chose friendship over a promotion, and chose to kill Sabina.
Thanks for watching! Hope you all enjoyed :)
