Description
Another provocation
The quiet, leaf-green clouds of summer
Give way to the glorious red-orange-gold
Nightgowns of Fall.
But Winter strips those rainbow colors,
Leaving naked the dark branch-threads against the sky,
A Film Noir of black and white.
Threads so cold and bare
Death seems to be upon them,
Waiting for the Resurrection of Spring.
They say that “Only God can make a tree”,
And bring it back to life.
But why can’t He,
Do that for me?
