Frank Carson (1926-2012)

Hugh Francis "Frank" Carson KSG (6th November 1926 - 22nd February 2012) was a Northern Irish comedian and actor, best known on television in series such as The Comedians and Tiswas. In 1987 his dedication to charity was recognised by the Roman Catholic Church when he was awarded a Papal knighthood of the Order of St. Gregory by Pope John Paul II.
