It’s to late to make amends; forever turned its back on us
Flashing lights from that highway snake
Reminds me of the mileage gone to waste
Nothing good is built to last, forever turned its back on us

Sleepless nights makes the longest days, the sun becomes my enemy
We once flourished like the month of May, slowly withered to fade away
And I believe, there’s no such thing as a brand new start
No turning back, no second chance
I bury our ashes in that deep blue sea
