A free internet and the oligarchy are incompatible, and the only way they can retain power is to censor it (as we are now seeing). Regardless of what outcomes it does in fact bring, this is the first time since civilization that there is a system whereby the vast majority can actually discuss criticize and oversee their governance.

I would like to see 5%(initially) of all government votes given over to voluntary public e voting. That may not change the dynamic, but it would increase awareness and oversight of the citizens because they would become participants and not just NPC's.
