FMA Program 1

The Financial Markets Association of Pakistan was formed in 1997, is a Non-commercial, Non-profit, Self-financed and Professional Association of Dealers of Financial Instruments. The members of the Association are drawn from Dealing Room Staff of all Nationalized Banks, Foreign Banks, Private Sector Banks, NBFC’s and FX/MM Interbank Brokerages Houses.

FMAP has about 285+ members & the members annually elect the governing body. FMAP has recently been granted a SRO Status with a mandate from State Bank of Pakistan will work towards achieving the tasks elaborated in the Mission Statement.

FMAP is affiliated with “Association Combsite Internationale – Paris”, like other similar national associations across the world. FMAP is also recognized as Self Regulatory Organisation (SRO) by the State Bank of Pakistan and incorporated under section 42 of the companies ordinance, 1984
