Russian businessman executed and buried faulty shoes received from Austria
The owner of the largest Russian orthopedic retail chain “Kladovaya Zdorovya” Boris Lipner performed a ritual execution by shooting defective footwear from Austrian company Fidelio on February 27, 2013 not far from Saint Petersburg and burnt the footwear in a coffin.

Boris Lipner owns 115 orthopedic retail outlets under the trade mark “Kladovaya Zdorovya”. The businessman purchased a batch of orthopedic footwear from Austrian company Fidelio in November, 2012. The supply was prepaid. Fidelio products (730 pairs) were delivered to the Russian company’s warehouse, where shocking details were revealed: NOT A SINGLE PAIR sent by the Austrian company was of proper quality! A part of the lot was unmarketable even with a considerable discount, and the other part was not of European quality by far. As it was found out later, the “Austrian” products were manufactured in the Third World countries without any quality control.
Fidelio refused to withdraw the footwear and return the money, and cynically offered a discount for the next supply.
Boris Lipner decided to destroy the defective goods publicly, in order to warn the customers all over the world about the unfair manufacturer. The company owner personally performed the ritual of shooting, burning and burial on February, 25.
Skills of shooting at flying targets (sporting) came in very useful to Boris Lipner. He won several awards of shooting championships in Russia. (Boris Lipner won the Silver Award of Russian Sporting Championship in 2012 for sporting doublet shooting).
All the process was recorded on video and placed at youtube and in social networks on the same day. “Kladovaya Zdorovya” is going to conduct the information campaign among the retail buyers in Russia, European countries and America. The best efforts will be taken at Austria and neighboring countries.
“Kladovaya Zdorovya” Company has also started mailing the application to wholesale participants of orthopedic market all over the world. In particular, it contains the following statement:
