Music in honor of FatIMA Hassouna

If I die, I wnt a loud death.
I don´t want tobe just breaking News, or a number in a group
I want a death that the world will hear, an impaact that will remain through time, and a timeless image that cannot be buried by time or place.
Fatima Hassouna (Gaza, 2000 - Gaza, 2025),

This was one of Fatima's last lines in an interview with filmmaker Sepideh Farsi, which is part of the beautiful documentary "Put Your Soul on Your Hands and Keep Walking" (2025).
One day after the documentary was selected to open the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, Fatima and nine other members of her family were brutally murdered by a bomb dropped by Israel.

This was one of the saddest episodes of this tragedy, this genocide, faced by the Palestinian people, perpetrated by Israel. Moved by this story, I wrote these lyrics based on Fatima's last lines.

Fatima Hassouna, for me, became immortal and should be an example of resistance for the Palestinian people and for all journalists in Gaza.
