In 2004 Mick faced a surfer’s worst nightmare, after tearing his hamstring from its bone and not being able to surf. A potentially career ending accident. Since then Mick has fought back to progress as far as anyone could possibly imagine and realize most surfers’ dream of becoming World Champion.
